Junior Open Water Diver Certification
SCUBA Camp is a one-week program that provides classroom,
pool, and open water instruction for Jr. Open Water Diver Certification.
All pool and classroom sessions are held at our private, off-site
pool. Open water dives are
conducted at a popular, local dive site.
All classes are taught by a certified, SCUBA Schools International
Open Water SCUBA Instructor. Parents
are always welcome to join the students on their open water dives.
Sessions start daily at 9:00 am and run until 5:00 pm.
Lunch, snacks, and beverages are provided.
Students will receive their textbook, dive log, and dive
tables upon registration. We
will provide the SCUBA equipment (tanks, regulator, and buoyancy
compensator). Students will
need their own SCUBA QUALITY mask, snorkel, fins, weight belt with
weights, and gear bag. These
items should be purchased at WOODS & WATER. to insure their
proper fit and function.
An orientation session is required when registering for SCUBA Camp. A parent or legal guardian must accompany the camp candidate during this orientation in order to complete the paperwork. Also, at this time, the candidate can be professionally fitted for their personal snorkeling system as well as the SCUBA system they will use during the course.
The
FUN doesn't end once the camp is over...there will be dives planned
throughout the summer,
as well as a reunion party!
